Do not be alarmed. Tap on the Word Bop icon – which will have automatically changed from The Linguist: Word Craft one – and you’ll be right back in your happy place, with all your progress, purchases, and setting intact.
If, on the other hand, you never got around to playing The Linguist :Word Craft, consider this your introduction to, er… Word Bop.
Like Worldle, Quordle, and all the many other “dle” games, Word Bop is a daily puzzler, presenting you with a unique set of Daily Challenges to complete every 24 hours. The difference is you can play it all day if you feel like it, rather than just once.
Gameplay-wise, it presents you with a grid of randomly jumbled letters and challenges you to find as many words as possible within a set time limit.
There are bonus points available for finding certain words, and you can use six different power-ups to assist you in your daily attempt.

These include a power-up that sweeps away an entire row or column of tiles, a power-up that shuffles the board, a power-up that lets you undo a move, and more.
If you’ve ever played a game of Boggle, you’ll be right at home. Except Word Bop is a much deeper game than Boggle, since the grid is literally three tiles deep.
Clearing a tile exposes the tile underneath, forcing you to think on your feet as new word-making opportunities become available.
Word Bop was always a fun, challenging word puzzler, and now it’s much easier for people to find.
You can download Word Bop for free right now on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
