It sees you battle an AI invasion that threatens the futuristic digital world, and we’re here to give you 5 reasons why you need to play Terminull Brigade – as well as how it sets a new standard for roguelike shooters. 

It’s Set In A Rich, Story-Driven Sci-fi Universe  

Terminull Brigade is set in the Nullverse. In this virtual world are Rogueteers, and each is unique with their own playstyle, narratives, and abilities. With AI invading, only you can stop it. 

There are currently 2 maps to play in. You have the Ringed City, which is a neon cityscape with large buildings towering over you. It’s the perfect sci-fi and dystopian location.

Second there’s the Wasteland, a desolate arena with danger. But with danger comes opportunity, so plan ahead and create the perfect strategy to outsmart your enemies.  

Full Customisation 

Everybody has a different style of gameplay, so it is crucial to be able to customise your experience and play in your favourite type of way. 

Fortunately Terminull Brigade has you covered here, with each Rogueteer fully customisable – allowing you to test out new builds during each wave of combat. 

They each have their own personalities, active abilities, passive traits, and vastly different playstyles, which means you need to think out how and when to use them.

Whether you prefer assassins, elemental crowd control, or battlefield disruptors, there’s a Rogueteer for everyone – regardless of your gameplay preference.  

Play Alone Or With Others 

If you want to dive in head-first alone you’re well catered here too, with a variety of solo missions you can take on. 

Or, if you believe in strength in numbers, you can team up and play in online co-op. As each Rogueteer is unique, you can create the perfect team with other real-life players and have one of each Rogueteer.  

At the end of the waves are intense and action-packed boss battles that put your teamwork to the test. Each run is different, offering randomized challenges and loot. So, despite being able to be strategic with your Rogueteer build, make sure you expect the unexpected.  

Progression System  

There is a robust power progression system available, which is powered by unlocking grids. These install mod varieties, which you can obtain by completing different sessions. 

Each grid shape is tied to one of the Rogueteer’s core attributes and design, making the build feel unique to the Rogueteer you’re playing as. 

Different Gameplay Modes 

If you want to mix up the core gameplay there are four modes to choose from too, with each one offering something different.  

There’s Standard Mode for one. This features 10 difficulty tiers, which you need to unlock as you work your way through them. To unlock it, you must achieve a perfect clear in the level prior – if you beat your high score you’ll reach new levels.

Then there’s Corrective Action. You unlock this after achieving a flawless clear of any world at difficulty 6 in Standard Mode. In Corrective Action, you earn points, which are used to help you progress to the next floor. There are 50 floors in this mode, each one giving you something new to overcome.
